I’ve been reflecting on the word Legacy; as I launch a big, impactful feature at my company, as we mourn & celebrate the life of a fierce advocate for equality, I think about the footprints we leave behind and the lives we touch.
On to the celebration of legacies, big & small, this past week…
👍 What went well: Open to #Hiring Launch!
This week, we company ramped Open to #Hiring, my biggest launch yet @ LinkedIn, with over 180+ folks contributing, 7+ R&D teams, and LOTS of impact to come. Here’s a lil’ gratitude video our designer made for the launch!
We’re slowly rolling the feature out in the next couple of weeks - still some ways to go before it’s out in the wild but really HYPED!

👎 What could be better: Rest in Power, RBG
In other, more devastating news, Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death left such a heavy toll (oh, 2020 keeps giving…)
The reason I can own a bank account without a male body signing off or the fact that I can work as a woman is because of RBG’s fervent fight for equality. Still in awe that these basic rights didn’t exist before her time. What a legacy for humankind everywhere.
Rest in power, RBG.

👉 What’s up next: No Code MVPs
Made HUGE progress on the Consensus app! Building #NoCode shortens the development cycle from weeks/months to DAYS. I built playconsensus.bubbleapps.io, the Consensus app in ~<3 days. Still a few UX kinks to fix but you can definitely already start playing! Try it out & send me feedback.

I’m now on my way to becoming a NoCode expert on Bubble! 👌 Now, going to go heads down on creating my startup idea MVP. Building & learning in public through this newsletter & via Twitter! Game on.
👌 Nudges of the Week
I realize there’s always a thing (movie, show, article) I recommend in the “P.S.” section, so decided to create a whole new section (borrowing from Erik T’s format), with few recommendations that may spark joy or inspiration in your life. Open to your personal nudges as well.
Read of the week: Erik Torenberg’s Building a Personal Moat (his favorite piece of career advice)
Watch of the week: Anything RBG - her documentary or “On the Basis of Sex”
